Vision lab

Our labs are supervised intensive multi-day working sessions for teams working on a complex issue.

Working on collective sense of direction

The input of all participants is needed to guarantee the quality and support for the chosen solution. The emphasis may be on joint direction or on further development, change, improvement and innovation. It is often a mix of both.

Collective sense of direction is worked on: knowing who you are and what you want, knowing what is coming your way, what you can do and creating the space to go and do it. As an organisation, as a team and as a team member. Especially now! In times of tumult and intense change!

What is a vision lab?

The vision lab serves to sharpen one's own vision. Sometimes it is necessary to pause to discover where you are and where to go. In this way, you regain clarity as a team about the goal and the views on how to achieve it.

‘Fantastic to get inspired under the guidance of Common Ground Common Sense for two full days away from all the daily hectic and be able to work on our plans in a playful way. Sjoerd is cooking with it!’

Sustainable decisions

For inspiration or to avoid blind spots, guests can be invited to attend (parts of) the lab. We make vision differences visible and discussable. Participants will see how they can contribute. Leaders can take sustainable decisions based on the lab, based on shared knowledge, insights and convictions. Thus, this lab leads to team spirit and releases energy.

When to have a vision lab?

• When you start with something new.
• If there is visible friction and conflict (high turnover and/or absenteeism).
• When the world around you changes rapidly.
